WATER OF LIFE

This is an unusual topic for me but God has personally put it on my heart. ‘The Pill’ form of birth control turns out to be the same as an abortion. According research on the net, when using the ‘the pill’, the egg can still get fertilized but can’t embed in the uterine wall and thus starves to death.

Americans use the pill so that they don’t have to make the sacrifice it takes to raise a child. The Canaanites and eventually the Isrealites took up the practice of killing their children in sacrifice to a false God.

And they burned their sons and their daughters as offerings and used divination and omens and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking him to anger. Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel and removed them out of his sight. 2 Kings 17:17-18

And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into my mind. Jeremiah 7:30-34

They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood. Psalm 106:37-38

You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord. Leviticus 18:21

And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death, then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech. Leviticus 20:1-5

God’s blessing was taken away and His judgement fell on the nation of Israel. Their nation was destroyed by non-believing nations. The remnant of people left were taken captive and exiled into a foreign nation.

In America, according to Wikipedia, there are about a million abortions a year and there are 12 million women on the pill. I don’t know if more deaths are caused by ‘the pill’ than abortion but looking at those numbers it sure seems plausible to me. I do know that few Christians are aware of the fact that ‘the pill’ is the same as an abortion.

Some say our nation is under a period of grace. A grace period where we can turn away from our sin before God’s hand of judgment falls on our land. But we must ‘turn from all our wicked ways before He will forgive us of our sin and heal our land’.

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
